We have a late-night game for those of you east of me.
And we get to see new Blue Jays pitcher José Ureña. They figure he can go 75 to 80 pitches. Eric Lauer is available to pitch multiple innings.
None of the above makes me feel like we will watch a great pitching performance tonight.
Lefty Tyler Anderson starts for the Angels. He has a 2.67 ERA in 6 starts.
Jake Bloss is going to miss his next start, which makes me sad. I thought we might see him soon.
Jake Bloss is dealing with an elbow issue. Got evaluated in Toronto recently and will continue working with team doctors and trainers. Won’t make his next AAA start. Severity unclear as of now.

And more on potential Jays starters.
Spencer Turnbull is throwing in Florida per Blue Jays manager John Schneider. The RHP has been facing college hitters & will continue building up with the goal of starting at the MLB level for Blue Jays. Will require at least a few rehab starts before becoming an MLB option.

Go Jays Go.
