Game #37 GameThread: Jays @ Angels

I don’t know if it was my idea or Hugo’s, but we decided that we shouldn’t allow swearing on the site, which 90% of the time I’m good with. But when the team plays like this, it is hard not to swear. But then Hugo’s mom wouldn’t like it, so I won’t.

But Jays, you better win tonight.

Or at least, let’s try not to lose in a soul-crushing way.

I have often gone to Seattle for baseball, but I don’t want to cross the border now. I’ve heard too many stories about how border guards have been treating people (and I don’t want to support their economy). I know I can’t hold my tongue when the subject of the orange man comes up.

Gimenez is sitting out. He’s day-to-day with a quad injury. He had an MRI today. We are pretty thin on infielders. Straw is back up at second, Santander backs up first. They could go with one less outfielder to give space for an infielder. We are a collision away from seeing Vlad at short.
