
The start of a tough series with the Padres.
We were at the Humane Society this afternoon looking at cats. Our last cat passed away about a year ago. She was over 20 years old and would lay beside me when I was on the computer or watching baseball.
Max Scherzer and Nick Sandlin both threw bullpens today. Scherez will throw Thurdays, Saturday and Monday and then (hopefully) face live batters. Andres Gimenez did some running today and will likely start a rehab stint soon.
The Jays are one of the worst teams in baseball in one-run games, which might really be a good sign. That number should/could balance out over time.
