We have an early game today. It would be nice to get the sweep. I was worried that we would get swept and be well below .500.
On the cat front, they are getting a little more comfortable. The very shy one came up to me for petting and sat on my lap for a long time. They have both been in the same room playing with toys. They still hide out most of the time, but we are getting there. My wife wants to call them Tab and Tux, which is as good as anything. I was sort of partial to George and Ringo. But Lerner and Lowe were also ones I liked.
Daulton Varsho is leading the team in home runs, despite playing in 16 games. And, even tho he’s in the leadoff spot, Bo Bichette leads in RBI. He’s been great with RISP, .370/.423/.500. He’s also leading the team in hits. Leading in stolen bases is Gimenez.
Today’s lineup. Kirk gets the day off, with the day game after the night game. And Varsho is DHing, with Straw in center field. Santander has the day off with a hip thing.
