There was a late change to the lineup.
Lukes is out with a sore neck, Roden moves to RF and bats seventh, Myles Straw bats eighth, playing CF and Jonatan Clase bats ninth, playing LF.
Gimenez bats fifth, because……Well, I don’t know, someone else can explain, I suppose. Perhaps he hits well on the tenth of the month. He does have a .500 batting average against Miles Mikolas (in two at-bats). I wish a reporter would ask the obvious question, but when they are all paid by the company that owns the team, that won’t happen.
UPDATE: OF Nathan Lukes was removed from tonight’s starting lineup with neck discomfort. pic.twitter.com/VqklVuqOeo
