7-1? To the White Sox? Really?
So it could have gone better. Today’s a new day, though. And a new game that now they really kinda have to win. Making matters a little more difficult, Addison Barger has been scratched with right hip soreness. I guess he banged it pretty hard leaping at the wall last night. Also Max Scherzer’s bullpen has been pushed to tomorrow, although we don’t have any statement as to why. Monday’s off day means he can do that and still slot naturally into the rotation next week.
It’s Jose Berrios day, and he’s facing Aaron Civale. That should make today very winnable. Should.
