My weekend plans have been drenched in the rain. I was to do the MS Ride, but we are to get a rather biblical amount of rain. They haven’t cancelled the ride, but they will make an announcement this afternoon.
The Jays made a couple of roster moves before today’s game:
- Nathan Lukes is back from the concussion list.
- Nick Sandlin is back from the IL.
- Will Robertson will be in danger, danger in Buffalo again.
- Justin Bruihl is also in Buffalo.
And there are a bunch of injury updates:
- Yimi Garcia threw batting practice, and should start a rehab assignment Monday.
- Daulton Varsho is running the bases and should start a rehab assignment sometime next week.
- Bowden Francis had a cortisone shot, and won’t be throwing for a few days.
- Anthony Santander still isn’t swinging the bat.
- Ryan Burr will pitch for Buffalo tomorrow.
- Alan Roden is day-to-day with swelling in his knee.
Today’s lineup. Lukes is back in the lineup. Kirk gets a day off.
