This week, in the MLB Reacts poll (brought to you by FanDuel) we asked if you thought John Schneider would be fired this season. Almost 70% think he will.
And that was before yesterday’s games.
I don’t believe it is his fault we aren’t winning, but after being unable to score last year, we aren’t hitting at all this year, and someone will take the fall for it. The line about it being easier to fire the manager than 26 players fits.
Not that I understand the idea of hitting Andres Gimenez cleanup (or anywhere near the middle of the order), I don’t think that’s costing them games.
Things might have been better if the front office had picked up a third baseman. John has been evaluating several young prospects to find the ones who can help the team.
