We are going to a Mother’s Day brunch, so I’m putting the GameThread up early.
Addison Barger had a terrific time in Seattle. Yesterday, he had the three hardest hit balls of the game (with Varsho and Guerrero rounding out the top five). The day before he was 1, 3 and 5 in the top five hardest hit balls (with Julio Rodriguez filling in the other two spots). It’s nice to see,
The team is doing better on offence, averaging 5.2 runs per game over the last six, with a .287/.351/.407 batting line.
The Jays haven’t announced anything on Jake Bloss’s elbow injury, but I’m guessing it won’t be good news.
Also, still no word on Jake Bloss as the Blue Jays assess the severity of his elbow injury
