We had a late night here at the Dakers’ house. My wife cut off the very end of a finger in a sewing accident, and we spent most ot the evening and part of the night in the ER. She’ll be ok, but there was a fair bit of blood to clean up this morning. Unfortunately for her, it is her middle finger, so driving will be an issue. I will get her a bumper sticker saying ‘Finger is broken, listen for horn’.
The day we never thought was going to come. Max Scherzer makes his second Blue Jays start. Let’s hope it doesn’t end with him back on the IL.
Add that Alan Roden is playing, and this game is basically an impossibility happening right before us. Who knows, a Canadian team may, one day, win the Stanley Cup again. Nothing impossible. Well, okay, that last one is still impossible.
