The Toronto Raptors and wing AJ Lawson have agreed to a two-way contract. Lawson was recently waived from a standard deal by Toronto. Now, he’ll re-sign with the Raptors on a two-way contract.
Lawson appeared in 26 games for Toronto last season. The 6-foot-6 wing averaged 9.1 points and 3.3 rebounds in 18.7 minutes per game.
This is Lawson’s final season of two-way eligibility. The Raptors roster appears set for the regular season with 14 players on standard contracts and all three two-way spots filled. Toronto is slightly above the luxury tax line entering the season.
