The Knicks and Raptors are going to close out 2023 with a trade that should shake things up in the Eastern Conference.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Raptors are sending OG Anunoby to the Knicks for a package that features RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley and a 2024 second-round pick.
In addition to getting Anunoby, the Knicks are receiving Precious Achiuwa. He’s averaging 7.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game this season.
Obviously, the big name in this deal is Anunoby. The two-way forward has been mentioned in trade rumors for nearly a year. Now, he’ll have the chance to showcase his skills in the Big Apple.

As for the Raptors, they get two prolific scorers in Barrett and Quickley. It’s possible that Barrett will take his game to a new level now that he’s back in his hometown of Toronto.
The Knicks will face the Pacers this Saturday, so it’s highly unlikely Anunoby will make his debut. He should be ready for Monday’s game against the Timberwolves though.
