A series that has been impossible to predict because no two games have been the same resumes tonight in what’s always termed a “pivotal game” in a best-of-seven set.
The Raptors once again with forward Pascal Siakam limited by a bruised right calf, will be looking to take a 3-2 series lead over the Philadelphia 76ers at the Scotiabank Arena.
“He’s feeling a little bit better, about the same really, I guess, just a little day of rest there,” Toronto coach Nick Nurse said of Siakam a couple of hours before tip-off in the NBA Eastern Conference semifinal.
Philadelphia centre Joel Embiid missed the team’s morning shootaround on Tuesday, stuck back at the hotel with flu-like symptoms. That could cut seriously into the Sixers offence with him at less than 100 per cent.
Game 6 in the series is Thursday night in Philadelphia with Game 7, if necessary, back in Toronto on Sunday.
