Look: Fred VanVleet Just Ripped His Jersey In Half

June 27, 2024 by The Spun

Frustration is boiling over in Toronto. Raptors guard Fred VanVleet just ripped his jersey in half and walked straight to the locker room after getting called for a foul.

It’s unclear why VanVleet became so frustrated. The Raptors have a 53-49 lead over Philadelphia at the half. However, Toronto is down 0-3 in the series.

After fouling a player to stop the action in the first half, VanVleet ripped his jersey in half. He then proceeded to head straight to the locker room.

It’s unclear if he left the court to get a new jersey or if he’s dealing with an injury.

Update: VanVleet is reportedly dealing with what’s being described as “hip pain.” It’s unclear if he’ll be able to return.

The Raptors lead the Sixers 53-49 after two quarters. They’ll need to maintain that lead over the final 24 minutes to keep this series alive.

Philadelphia won the first three games of the series and is no doubt looking for the sweep.
