The Toronto Raptors’ front office could be facing “win-now pressure” to make a splashy trade, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
With the Grizzlies open to trading Ja Morant, the pressure could lead the Raptors to make a deal for the guard.
The Raptors have previously registered interest in Trae Young, Anthony Davis, and Domantas Sabonis.
With Davis potentially injured until after the trade deadline, the Kings are not interested in any of the team’s long-term contracts required to trade for Sabonis.
The Raptors acquired Brandon Ingram at last year’s trade deadline.
