Fans around the NBA are coming for Raptors forward Scottie Barnes for his KIA Skills Challenge on Saturday night.

The 22-year-old All-Star got off to a slow start when he clumsily attempted to dribble through the slalom and ended up losing his handle out of bounds but thankfully he was able to pick things up towards the end.

That didn’t stop viewers from getting at him though on social media:

“Scottie Barnes is the funniest player in the league,” a user tweeted.

“Scottie Barnes never beating the allegations,” another said.

“This is a hard night for Scottie Barnes,” a fan cried.

“Scottie Barnes gotta be studied lmaooo.”

“Scottie Barnes and Maxey just ruined a Trae Young masterclass,” another person commented.

“WHY IS SCOTTIE BARNES HERE ?” an account asked. “THIS DUDE IS TRASH ASF.”

“Scottie Barnes botched his dribble. Tyrese Maxey went the wrong way. But we love them anyway,” commented Chris Walder.

“Scottie Barnes WHAT THE [EXPLETIVE] MAN.”

Not the All-Star debut Barnes was hoping to have at this weekend’s events but it’s all good. The former No. 4 pick is in the middle of his best individual season as a pro averaging 20.1 points per game with career highs in rebounds (8.1), assists (6.0), steals (1.2) and blocks (1.5).

He’ll represent the East (and the North) as a reserve in tomorrow night’s 73rd All-Star Game which tips-off at 8 PM ET on TNT live from Indianapolis. He’ll be joined by Paolo Banchero, Jaylen Brown, Jalen Brunson, Tyrese Maxey, Donovan Mitchell and Trae Young.
