September 24, 2021 by Last Word On Soccer Leave a Comment

USMNT FIFA 22

The soccer video game FIFA 22 is already in people’s hands. Early access is available before the full launch of the game on Oct. 1 and the full player ratings are out. You can see the full database on Futbin. Included in this database are the ratings of all the United States men’s soccer players and headlining the pack is Christian Pulisic.

The Chelsea winger and oftentimes American captain was given an overall rating of 82 overall with high marks for both speed and dribbling. He is the only USMNT player with a rating above 80 in this year’s game and one of 10 U.S. players that is in the Gold rating window (75 overall and above). Alongside Pulisic in the gold rating range is John Brooks (78), Giovanni Reyna (77), Zack Steffen (77), Tyler Adams (77), Weston McKennie (77), Sergino Dest (76), Aaron Long (75), Cristian Roldan (75) and Matt Turner (75).

Turner’s FIFA cards are a clear indication of the New England Revolution goalkeeper’s rise in the game. Turner’s first FIFA card was in FIFA 17 at a 52 overall. Here in FIFA 22, he has skyrocketed to a 75 rating after his impressive season with the Revolution and incredible performances at the Gold Cup.

Other FIFA 22 USMNT Scores

Notable USMNT players that are just missing out on being a Gold item with an overall rating of 74 and below include Walker Zimmerman, Timothy Weah, DeAndre Yedlin, Paul Arriola, Antonee Robinson and more. The reality of it is that the USMNT’s talent pool and growth are on full display in the video game with more players receiving higher overall ratings and statistics in previous years.

One enjoyable aspect of FIFA’s ratings is to look into the specific in-game statistics that have been given to determine which players are fastest, strongest, etc. The fastest USMNT player in FIFA 22 is as expected Yedlin with a blistering 93 rated pace attribute. Other Americans crossing the 90-speed plateau include MLS regular Joe Gyau of FC Cincinnati, Kyle Duncan of the New York Red Bulls, and Kekuta Manneh of Austin FC.

The strongest American international in FIFA 22 is Orlando City striker Daryl Dike with a strength rating of 96 out of a possible 99. This doesn’t just make him one of the strongest American players but one of the strongest players in the world. Jozy Altidore and Omar Gonzalez of Toronto FC were also given strength ratings above 90.

The full database is a treat to look at so here is a link to every American player’s rating in FIFA 22. Included in this is a special FIFA Ultimate Team Hero Card for former USMNT striker Clint Dempsey.
