So, let’s not snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory again today.
It is game two in the two-game series in Baltimore and then the Braves come to Toronto for three games.
Today, Jose Berrios (1-1, 4.58) will face Cade Povich (0-1, 3.48).
We have the right-handed lineup in. The Davis Schneider watch is still on; the last on the roster without a hit. He will have to hit at some point if he wants to stay on the roster. 13 at-bats don’t change my opinion of him, but then I didn’t think he would make the roster this year.
I think he’s lucky that Orelivis Martinez is having a terrible start with the Bisons. I want Barger to be called up, but he’s a left-handed batter. Then again, he wouldn’t do any worse against lefties than Davis.
